These studies are offered as the fruit of twenty years of teaching experience, to prepare the embryonic trumpeter for advanced work. The purpose is to provide technical material which shall be sufficiently attractive from the melodic standpoint to maintain the student's interest, and the composer hopes they may contribute in no small degree to the student's musical and technical progress.
